Why is Selvo so affordable?
We build one focused product — not a bloated support suite. No ticketing theatre, no 40-seat enterprise sales motion. One flat price for help center, chat widget, and shared inbox — AI agent metered at $0.10 per conversation, coming soon. That's it.
What's the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter is for small teams: 3 members, 1 help center, shared inbox, chat widget. Pro adds 10 team members, 5 help centers, custom domain, custom CSS, custom inbox views, team inboxes, and full analytics. Same core product — Pro unlocks growth. AI agent (coming soon) is available on both plans, metered at $0.10/conversation.
Why does Starter cap at 3 members?
It fits what small support teams actually need. If you're 4+ people answering customers, you're ready for Pro.
What if my Pro team grows past 10?
Get in touch. We'll sort it out. Most teams Selvo is built for never hit 10 — but if you do, we're not going to slap a Zendesk-grade seat bill on you to keep going.
How does AI agent pricing work?
Usage-based: $0.10 per conversation the AI handles. No monthly cap, no bundle, no overage math. Available on every plan (coming soon). Pay only for what it actually resolves.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Sign up, use the whole platform for 14 days on Pro, add a card only when you're ready. If the trial ends without a card, your workspace pauses — we don't delete your data.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes — 2 months free. Starter is $348/year (works out to $29/month). Pro is $888/year (works out to $74/month).
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrade from settings — the change is immediate and pro-rated. Downgrade at the end of your billing period in one click. No lock-in, no cancellation fees, no retention gauntlet.
Is there a free plan?
No. We replaced it with a full 14-day free trial — every feature, no credit card. A forever-free tier costs us real money (storage, bandwidth, AI) and attracts users who never convert. The trial is honest: try the whole product, decide.
Will you raise prices on me?
Selvo is self-funded. No investors pushing us to maximize revenue per customer. If we ever change pricing, existing customers keep the rate they signed up at — guaranteed, in writing, in the terms.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export help articles and customer conversations at any time. If you cancel, we keep your data for 30 days in case you come back, then permanently delete it. No hostage tactics.
